While the extensive main and upper decks have an outdoor salon and bar with a hot tub, and an indoor dining area complete with a second bar, the waterline-level dive deck is highly functional, with all necessary diving amenities and enough space for 4 in-water guides. It is also equipped with a large camera station, two diving tenders, and a recompression chamber. On surface intervals, guests can unwind in a hammock on the covered sun deck, have fun in the dedicated entertainment salon, or simply relax in the second lounge with 360˚ views. The top sundeck provides an impressive panorama of Palau and its spectacular sunsets.

Palau Liveaboard Itineraries:

Guests aboard Black Peal Explorer will dive magical blue holes, captivating wartime wrecks, action-packed channels, and pristine coral reefs. Palau’s waters are home to over 1400 species of fish, together with countless species of sharks within the Shark Sanctuary. Manta rays, dolphins, and whale sharks are also common.

Black Pearl Explorer offers 8-day/7-night itineraries on three routes to delight every type of diver. Palau Classic visits all the most-famous sites in Palau, such as German Channel, Blue Corner, Blue Holes, Peleliu Express, Chandelier Cave, and Ulong Wall. Plus, an exciting stop to snorkel in the famed Jellyfish Lake where jellyfish have adapted without stingers. The other two Palau itineraries are the Spawning Specials, combining the dive sites and excursions of the Palau Classic itinerary, in addition to diving during the spawning aggregations of the red snappers (during full moon) and the bump head parrotfish (during new moon). To accommodate the moon cycles, Black Pearl Explorer may depart on different days each year. You can see the upcoming schedule here.
